In this workshop we will explore the anomaly within the Smart Cities paradigm [read pp. 57-87 here: Special Issue]. 

What is a smart city anomaly? Can we see it? And if we do, are we going to fight our enemies? 

The speakers in a forthcoming workshop – to launch this special issue – will present this emerging reality.

The purpose of the forthcoming workshop is to present the reasoning and the significance of our work.

PART 1. Presentation of papers and insights:

What are the main themes and relevance to the environment, to humanity, to our communities.

 

In smart cities we create data spaces that affect our social and physical environments.

PART 2. Panel discussion – Innovation management in smart cities:

How do we develop partnerships and business models that are smart, sustainable, and fair?

How do we design places, behaviors and data products that are smart, sustainable, and fair?
